Turin-born multidisciplinary artist Gionatan Scali shares rousing new single ‘Modern Man’. Now based in East London with a hand in music, visual art and writing, Scali has breezed through the scene with unbridled creativity - and an eclectic sound to show for it. With three albums under his belt, Scali boasts inspiration from a range of influences, largely stumbling into a realm of dreamy experimental rock shrouded in psychedelic curiosity. His first release since 2022 record A Prophet After His Turkish Bath, ‘Modern Man’ serves as a wake-up call. Woozy, slow grooves are replaced with far more pressing and sonically driven instrumentation; fervent riffs, a tectonic drumbeat and proclamatory vocals from Scali.
